Invoice Number Generator provides a browser-based, client-side invoice maker, sequential invoice number generator, and optional cloud-based invoicing management subscriptions (including cloud saving, client libraries, automated reminders, and email dispatch).

3. Lawful Invoicing & User Responsibilities

  • Accuracy & Legal Validity: You are solely and exclusively responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, legality, and tax validity of all invoices, line items, prices, company details, and tax identifiers generated through our Service.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You agree never to use the Service to generate fraudulent, deceptive, or forged invoices, fictitious commercial transactions, illegal tax evasion schemes, or unauthorized third-party billing notices.
  • Tax Compliance Responsibility: Tax laws, sales tax obligations, and Value Added Tax (VAT) rules vary by country and region. You are responsible for ensuring that your issued invoices fulfill the specific statutory requirements of your relevant tax authority.

4. Software Convenience & Numbering Disclaimer

Our automated sequential numbering features (including customizable patterns, sequence counters, and zero-padding) are provided solely as an operational software convenience. While designed to assist in maintaining sequential continuity, our tool does not constitute official legal, statutory, or financial accounting advice. You remain responsible for complying with the mandatory numbering and audit requirements of your jurisdiction.

5. Subscriptions, Payments & Third-Party Gateways

  • Subscription Billing: Subscriptions to paid tiers (Starter $9/month, Pro $19/month) are billed in advance on a monthly recurring basis through our merchant checkout partner Waffo.
  • No Money Transmission or Escrow: The Service is a software platform, not a bank, money transmitter, payment gateway, or financial escrow service.
  • Client Payment Links ("Pay Now"): Any external payment links (such as PayPal.Me, Stripe Payment Links, or Wise) entered into your invoice settings or notes are direct, external hyperlinks to your own payment accounts. We do not process, custody, monitor, or reconcile funds transferred between you and your customers.

6. Cancellation, Refund Policy & Downgrade Terms

  • 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a full, unconditional 100% money-back refund on all subscription purchases requested within seven (7) calendar days of initial billing. See our Refund Policy for complete details.
  • Post-Cancellation Downgrade & 90-Day Retention: When a paid subscription expires or is terminated, paid features (cloud saving, direct sending, and automated reminders) are deactivated. Your existing saved invoices and client data remain available in read-only mode for ninety (90) days, during which you can view and download PDFs of your records. After 90 days of continuous lapse, cloud data is permanently purged.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Platform Ownership: The Service, including our underlying software algorithms, user interface, brand assets, and original content, is the property of Invoice Number Generator and protected by international intellectual property laws.
  • User Ownership: You retain full and exclusive ownership of all proprietary business names, client records, and invoice content you create using the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Invoice Number Generator disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the Service.
